Three pieces of Algorand news to be bullish about

If you love utility coins like Algorand, it’s been a great week to be in crypto.

As I type this, Algorand is above 22 cents. HBAR is touching 15 cents. XRP went from being a perpetual 53-cent stablecoin to shoot up well over a dollar.

Add that to the early success of Sui Network, which has managed to be a utility coin that behaves like a memecoin. (It’s up 72% in a month’s time.)

All this begs the question: Is the market finally ready to embrace utility coins?

A post by Miles Deutscher suggests the market might come kicking and screaming. (imagine being mad that the coins that are actually solving real world problems are actually doing well?)

Frankly, I’m not ready to say the market has changed yet. The truth is when the alt-season of the bull run kicks in, most coins do at least pretty decent. Some will vastly outperform. But nearly everyone wins to some degree.

That said, this early kick off makes me think the market might be on the verge of starting to value real world utility.

Bullish Algorand news

In the meantime, here are three pieces of really bullish news for Algorand:

• New airline coming to TravelX imminently: All signs point to a new airline coming to TravelX - insiders expect that to happen soon. Transactions from TravelX have shot off into the millions recently, and TravelX people have been meeting with airlines recently. An announcement of any kind will be big, but a major airline would be huge.

• Algorand advertising on Brave Browser: It’s not secret that Brave is the web browser of crypto people, and crypto ads on Brave are pretty common. It now looks like Algorand is getting in on that action and we’re here for it.

• Messari’s latest report on Algorand looks very promising: The third quarter report on Algorand from the analytics firm looks very good indeed. 63% quarter over quarter growth in new addresses and 12% quarter over quarter total value locked on chain are good signs.
